Situated in the heart of Port Stephen’s as well as having just undergone a multi-million dollar refurbishment, Shoal Bay Country Club is a prime hot spot when holidaying. The fit-out is a pastel, beachy dream, with bright coloured cushions, chairs and wall art. Dining and entertainment options are also incredible, creating the perfect buzzing atmosphere for a day or night out with friends and family.
Minimalist fashion is making a comeback. From neutral-filled tones to simple fabrics, minimalist fits bring a certain type of aesthetic that is just so dreamy. Verge Girl is one of my favourite online retail stores that stock affordable, on-point fashion – and are queens of styling minimalist looks. Below are some looks I played dress up in over the last week. All outfit details are linked.
If you follow me on my Instagram you would know that I am a major truffle lover. Truffle fries, truffle burgers, truffle pancakes, truffle on truffle, on truffle you name it, I’ve had it. So you can imagine my excitement when I found out that Lindfield’s local gem Goodfields Eatery has launched an entire menu dedicated to truffle season.
Glassons is one of my staple clothing brands for a few reasons. One, ever since I got into shopping in my early days of high school, Glassons was always an affordable option that remained updated to fashion trends – so I was able to look stylish without breaking bank (and by the bank I mean by chore money).
Floral patterns are timeless. No matter what decade, floral clusters, prints and designs are always coming back in and out of fashion. One of my all-time favourite online Australian stores, Showpo, is completely all for it. There are many new dresses, tops and skirts that are constantly being added that embrace this floral craze.
Recently I was lucky enough to collab with Showpo and typical me, gravitated towards floral pieces. The first outfit I got was a navy floral blue two-piece set that comes with a midi, fitted skirt and a crop top styled with tie-up velvet straps and a flirty sweetheart neckline. I don’t usually wear two-piece sets but I instantly fell in love with how the pair complemented each other so perfectly. To make it a bit more casual I wore the set with white Nike sneakers, a beaded black bag and minimal make-up. Alternatively, if I curled my hair, added heels/mules it would make the set ready for a night out.
For outfit 2 I love love love. I’ve been seeing milkmaid, puffy, ruched sleeves EVERYWHERE! They are a micro-trend that has slowly been making its way into 2019 and I find them such a flattering detail on any basic top or dress. So you can understand why I picked the Halo Dress In Yellow Floral – it has both the cutest sleeves and floral designs! The dress is so comfortable and fits perfectly around the bust so you can get away without wearing a bra – which is always a bonus! I paired the look with micro sunnies in amber, a mini black bag and the funkiest white boots that ooze 70s vibes!
